Botanical Images. The San Francisco Bay Area's extensive public and private gardens provide photographic access to plants which thrive in the world's "Mediterranean" climates - a small percentage of the planet, but one with incredible biological diversity. Ms. Graves' interest in botanical structure has led to a widely varied collection of close up, "detail" portraits of portions of plants. These images are characterized by saturated colors and a shallow depth of field, calling attention to one portion of a plant at a time.
Botanical images from this collection will be available to license in mid-2005. See "additional information."
